Two and a half years have passed since we laid the cornerstone for the new building of the Afik School, and today we had the privilege of inaugurating its new home.
The importance of this project led to a meaningful partnership between the Nahariya Municipality, the Ministry of Education, the Galilee Medical Center, the Hospital Corporation, and the Friends Association, which secured a major donation in memory of the late Gedalya Doron, as well as additional contributions from our dear partners, the ICA Foundation, Aquashield Medical, the Jewish Federation of Louisville, and the Laurie Kayden Foundation in New York. Each chose to invest in the future of children and adolescents, helping create a space that embodies a shared vision of education and healing, a place given walls, heart, and soul here at the Galilee Medical Center.
