Visit of representatives and the management of the Chicago Federation
The Galilee Medical Center and its Friends Association were pleased to host Chicago Federation members and management, at the medical center.
The visit opened with a fascinating overview by Prof. Hitham Hussein, Deputy Director of the Medical Center, who presented the center’s activities, challenges, and extensive work on behalf of the residents of the Galilee. This was followed by presentations from Dr. Hershkovitz, Head of the Genetics Department, and Dr. Naaman, Head of the Trauma Unit, who shared insights into their fields of expertise and the significant impact of their work on patients and the community.
The delegation then toured the Emergency Department and the Trauma Room, led by Dr. Attallah, Director of the Emergency Department. There, the guests were introduced to the advanced monitoring system donated by the Federation, which is already making a meaningful difference in the quality of care and patient safety. The tour continued to the underground complex slated for extensive renovation and concluded in Surgical Department A, where a new monitoring system—also acquired with the Federation’s support—was presented as a key component in advancing the quality of care.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Chicago Federation for its deep commitment, ongoing support, and true partnership in strengthening healthcare in the Galilee.
The visit was accompanied by the Chair of the Association, Sivan Yahieli, and the CEO of the Friends Association, Ayala Shaul Erez.
