The “Knitting Women with Love” group from Kibbutz Afek warmed our hearts with a touching and meaningful gesture – donating dozens of handmade hug dolls, lovingly crocheted especially for the children of the Shikma Center.

The Shikma Center, located at the Galilee Medical Center, is a unique rehabilitation center that provides an educational framework and para-medical therapies for around 40 children of various ages. Its mission is to help each child realize their personal potential, develop skills, and acquire essential life abilities.

The dolls – made with care and heartfelt intention – brought joy and emotion to both the children and the staff, lighting up faces with wide smiles.

A huge thank you to the amazing and talented women who brought warmth, kindness, and creativity to the children of Shikma. You are truly wonderful!
