We are pleased to announce the inauguration of a new parents’ room in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Galilee Medical Center, a warm, welcoming, and accommodating space designed to provide parents with moments of rest, privacy, and breathing space during a long, complex, and challenging period.

The room was established with the support of the Bank Leumi Employees Committee, in cooperation with the Galilee Medical Center, and under the leadership of the Friends Association.

The emotional ceremony was attended by representatives of the Bank Leumi Employees Committee: Ilana Asif, Vered Azar, and Dekel Cohen; the NICU Director, Dr. Vered Fleischer Shafir; representatives of the Friends Association, Ayala Shaul Erez and Orly Dahan Harmesh; and Mr. Moshe Meyuhas, Administrative Director of the hospital.

The need and vision for a dedicated parents’ room were raised by Dr. Vered Fleischer Shafir, and the Bank Leumi Employees Committee took up the challenge, turning a humane and sensitive idea into an inspiring and tangible reality.
