We were honored to host representatives from KKL Germany at the Galilee Medical Center. The visit was led by Dr. Tzvi Sheleg, Deputy Director of the Medical Center, who provided the guests with an overview of the hospital’s activities and challenges during the recent war. The visit continued with a guided tour, beginning at the newly renovated main entrance plaza, which was upgraded thanks to the generous support of KKL Germany Friends and the estate of the late Garcia Toledano. The group also visited the entrance plaza of the Pediatric Wing, which is soon to undergo extensive renovations with the support of KKL Germany and Switzerland Friends. Ms. Raya Strauss Ben-Dror, President of the Friends of Galilee Medical Center Association, warmly greeted the guests and expressed heartfelt thanks for their generous support and their strong partnership in promoting healthcare for the residents of the Galilee.

Among the distinguished guests: Ms. Yaffa Flor, President of KKL Germany, and her husband Mr. Eddie Flor, Mr. Paul Jurczok, CEO of KKL Germany, Ms. Miriam Schlefman, Director of the KKL Düsseldorf Office, Ms. Ayala Nagel, Member of the KKL Germany Board, Mr. Miki Rubinstein, Member of the KKL Germany Board, Ms. Ruthi Eitan, KKL emissary to Germany, Father Stefan Schwarz, Catholic priest at the prison in Rheinbach, North Rhine-Westphalia and Mr. Daniel Lorcher, Head of the Borussia Dortmund Football Club Fan Department and a prominent activist in the fight against antisemitism.
