The Galilee Medical Center recently welcomed renowned Israeli artist Daniela Shinman and her partner, Dan, to mark the installation of her donated artworks throughout the hospital. The donation is intended to enrich the hospital environment and provide patients, their families, visitors, and staff with an uplifting and comforting atmosphere. Daniela Shinman is a distinguished Israeli artist whose works have been exhibited extensively in Israel and internationally. Her artwork has been featured in leading museums and galleries, and in 2019 she was selected to participate in the Beijing International Art Biennale. Recognized for her distinctive and expressive artistic language, her works are displayed in public institutions, cultural venues, and healthcare facilities both in Israel and abroad. The donation is the culmination of a process that began approximately a year and a half ago, when Daniela and Dan approached the Medical Center with the desire to contribute her artwork for the benefit of patients and the hospital community. Throughout this period, the couple visited the hospital several times, including during the "Iron Swords" war and while extensive renovations were underway on the Internal Medicine floor, to take precise measurements, assess the exhibition spaces, and carefully determine the placement of each artwork. The artworks have now been installed in the lobby of the Internal Medicine Departments on the third floor and in the Family Room of the Intensive Care Unit. These spaces serve patients, families, and staff every day, and the artwork is expected to bring moments of tranquility, hope, and inspiration to all who spend time there. The Galilee Medical Center extends its sincere gratitude to Daniela and Dan Shinman for their generous contribution, their spirit of volunteerism, and their commitment to supporting the well-being of the residents of the Galilee.
