Cytotoxic drugs are designed to destroy or inhibit the growth of cancer cells and are a central component in cancer treatment, often used alongside radiation therapy.
Until recently, the hospital relied on external suppliers for these medications. A new in-house preparation unit is being established to reduce costs, personalize treatments, and minimize waste.
Due to the hazardous nature of these drugs, the facility must comply with strict safety standards to ensure protection for staff, patients, and the environment. It will be built as a sterile, controlled environment with advanced ventilation and filtration systems.
Estimated Cost:
$1,100,000
